Purpose of the job / project
LNDS is a growing organisation seeking to strengthen our communication department. We are looking for a Communication Specialist to support our communication efforts during the absence of our Head of Communication due to maternity and parental leave.

You will be responsible for supporting the execution of the organisation’s communication strategy, with a particular focus on planning and coordinating our annual signature event, the "Data SummitLuxembourg" organised in December 2025. This role involves creating, managing, and disseminating content that effectively communicates the organisation’s activities, capabilities, and services. You will work closely with various teams and the CEO to ensure cohesive and impactful communication.

As a part of the Communications department, you will bring the impactful data stories to light, sharing the work that happens behind the scenes. We are adept at leading and managing a variety of simultaneous projects, which requires the particular talent of being able to communicate effectively both within the entire organisation as well as externally.
What you will do
• Plan and coordinate the "Data Summit Luxembourg" event, overseeing the event experiences
from conception to post-event review, including content creation, event promotion, facilitating
event logistics, and collaboration with internal teams and various external partners and sponsors.
• Write, edit, and disseminate content, including publications, press releases, website content,
annual reports, speeches, and other marketing and communications materials.
• Respond to media inquiries and arrange interviews. Maintain records of media coverage and
collate analytics and metrics.
• Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand and coordinate publicity events in
collaboration with governmental and other partners.
• Stay updated on trends and industry audience behaviour to ensure the organisation’s
communication strategies remain current and effective.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and outsourcing partners on fulfilling the communication
activities.
• Utilise digital communication skills, including proficiency with social media analytics tools and
digital marketing strategies, to enhance the organisation's online presence and engagement.
• Leverage project management software and collaboration tools commonly used in tech
environments (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Slack, Brevo) to streamline communication processes and
ensure efficient project execution.
• Maintain a strategic mindset, aligning communication efforts with broader business goals andmetrics to support the organisation's overall objectives.
Who you are
• MSc in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a communications role, a marketing or event coordinator role
preferably within a technology or data organisation.
• Strong experience in in coordinating and managing the organisation of public events.
• Proficiency in content creation and management tools, with strong writing, editing, and
proofreading skills.
• Expertise in digital communication, including proficiency with social media analytics tools and
digital marketing strategies.
• Experience in community management (most notably LinkedIn) and familiarity with CMS tools.
• Experience with media relations and public speaking.
• Familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools commonly used in tech
environments (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Slack, Brevo).
• Ability to align communication efforts with broader business goals and metrics to support the
organisation's overall objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Creative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is an advantage.
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and good knowledge of French. Knowledge of the other
official languages of Luxembourg (German, or Luxembourgish) is an advantage.
