Purpose of the job / project
LNDS is a key partner in the newly funded project “Luxembourg AI Factory” co-financed by the European Union under the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking. In this project, LNDS is leading the activities related to “collaboration, networking, and engagement with AI Community”. Within the scope of these activities, we want you to play a key role in establishing strategic partnerships with national and international organisations around AI research, development and application. The role is expected to lead and be responsible for the implementation of tasks defined in the work package “Collaboration, Networking, and Engagement with AI Community”
As a collaboration and partnership manager on projects, your primary role will be the implementation of the tasks defined in the “Luxembourg AI Factory” project related to “Collaboration, Networking, and Engagement with AI Community”. You will support the project Principal Investigators in establishing strategic partnerships with national and international organisations (such as other European data space initiatives, EDIHs, TEFs, EDICs) in the area of AI research, development and application. You will support the management of the related work package and liaison with internal team member, project managers, and external partners on timely implementation and delivery of tasks defined in the related work package. You will also contribute to project reviews and dissemination.
What you will do
● Identify potential key contacts for partnership and stakeholders.
● Outreach to potential key partners and manage the establishment and maintenance of partnerships.
● Act on behalf of the work package leader in the implementation of the tasks.
● Drive the preparation of workshops and working meetings with key partners and stakeholders in the AI community.
● Draft project deliverables led by LNDS and ensure the quality of the deliverables.
● Identify opportunities in collaboration and co-development.
● Interact and collaborate with other partners and work packages in the project
Who you are
Required:
● MSc or higher degree in natural science, technology or social science.
● 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in technical project implementation.
● At least 3 years’ experience leading the implementation of national and European Union (EU)-level innovation project.
● Track record in establishing partnerships and professional networks.
● Excellent command of office software (MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, Power BI, Google Workspace, Webex/Teams & other collaboration tools).
● Excellent verbal communication and writing skills in English.
● Responsibility, consistency, and adherence to strict deadlines.
● Administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
Optional (considered as advantages):
● Knowledge of project reporting (both technical and financial).
● Basic understanding of GDPR and AI Act in the research and development domain.
● Travel availability (Schengen and non-Schengen, 2-3 times a year).
● Working knowledge of data processing tools.
● Working knowledge of Atlassian Solutions (e.g. Confluence, Jira Service Management).
● Experience in managing EC projects in a coordinator’s institute.
● Communication in other major European languages (e.g.: French, German, Spanish, Italian).
